About The Lone Star Rally

The roar of motorcycle engines will keep Galvestonians awake until at least Monday night.  The tourist bureau says there are a quarter million motorcycles on the island this weekend and 400,000 people came with them.

All in all, except for the noise, the bikers and biker-babes are a pretty good bunch of folks.

I hope they all get home alive this time.  Last year during the Lone Star Rally four of them died in crashes.  There are still markers at the spots where they died.

The Police News has invited them to submit photos/videos for an album it will publish online.  If you are part of the rally send yours to editor@texaspolicenews.com or text them to 409-457-4969
